Benefits of adding an additional photographer:

-more photos!

This is your special day, and we are here to help document every detail so that you and your spouse can hold on to these memories for the rest of your lives. I’m sure you’ve heard brides say before, “My wedding day went by so quickly, I don’t remember a thing!” Having photos of your wedding day will make your memories come alive so that you can re-live your special day over and over again.

-2 cameras can be in 2 different places at once:

While I am taking your formal family portraits, our 2nd shooter can capture a photo of the flower girl taking a nap on the back pew. While I am with the bride while her mother helps her into her dress, our 2nd shooter can be with the groom, catching a rare emotional moment between him and his father. These precious moments are happening constantly, and I cannot catch all of them by myself. With a 2nd shooter, we can capture more of these moments and make them into memories you can treasure.

-efficiency:

I have a lot of equipment that I haul around with me on wedding days, and to tell the truth, it gets kind of heavy! And we all know that family photos are a necessary evil… You want to have a record shot of the people you love with you on your wedding day, but Aunt Shirley and Uncle Frank hate having their picture taken, so they are hiding in the foyer. Having an assistant available will not only speed up my set-up and tear down time, but it’s also great to have them around to collect people and have them ready for portraits so we can get you to the reception on time J

-security:

I’ll be blunt-sometimes equipment breaks. As wonderful as modern technology is, it is still a machine, and occasionally, machines love to break on us, just to make us appreciate them more. Having a second shooter means having a back-up camera in case of an emergency. And that, my brides and grooms, is priceless.
